about homeopathy

In homeopathy we do not treat a person according to their diagnosis, or the label of their condition. Instead, there is the conviction that the body sends out signs and symptoms and reactions in order to draw attention to what needs to be looked at; the belief is that symptoms provide vital clues and that the process of homeopathic consultation is a form of detective-work which gets to the root of the issue.

Symptoms are the body’s way of communicating its distress, its conflict, and it is important to not suppress these symptoms, but instead to ‘listen’ to them.

Each person will have an individual way of ‘doing an illness’. It is this very uniqueness that leads us to the remedy which will resonate with the particular person, and their current state. The remedy works like a catalyst that triggers the body’s innate ability to heal, once it feels seen.
